Contract by virtue of which one or more persons called trustors transfer to INVEX in its capacity as a fiduciary institution the ownership or title of certain assets or rights, to be allocated for lawful and specific purposes, entrusting the execution of such purposes to INVEX, for the benefit of the trustors themselves or third parties, referred to as beneficiaries.

A trust offers key benefits over a will, primarily by avoiding the succesion process, providing greater privacy, and ensuring a swift and direct distribution of assets. Additionally, it allows for ongoing management of assets during the owner's lifetime in the event of incapacity, and offers more flexibility in how and when assets are distributed to beneficiaries. The trust can also protect against family disputes and in some cases may reduce tax costs. Although it may initially seem more expensive, it ultimately results in savings of time, money, and conflicts in the long term, while providing greater control over the disposition of assets both during life and after death.

There are several types of trusts, including estate trusts, real estate trusts, stock trusts, and security trusts. The appropriate choice depends on your financial goals, control over assets, financial situation, and beneficiaries.

The cost of establishing and maintaining a trust at INVEX varies depending on the type and amount of assets involved. Initial and annual fees are recommended.
